BTS triunfan en los American Music Awards con 3 premios, incluyendo Artista del Año
BTS (sus discos) fueron los grandes triunfadores de la última edición de los American Music Awards (sus discos), los premios que nacieron en los años 70 para competir con los Grammy.
La ceremonia se celebró en el Microsoft Theater en Los Ángeles. Cardi B (sus discos) presentó la ceremonia con actuaciones de Silk Sonic que abrieron la gala, BTS, que actuaron junto a Coldplay con My Universe y con Butter, Olivia Rodrigo, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, New Edition, New Kids on the Block y muchos otros.
BTS, Doja Cat y Megan Thee Stallion ganaron tres premios, pero la banda surcoreana se llevó el premio gordo de artista del año. Olivia Rodrigo que tenía 7 nominaciones, solo llevó el premio al mejor nuevo artista.
Los dos premios que se llevó Taylor Swift, elevó su cifra a los 34, más que nadie en la historia.
Las nominaciones son seleccionadas en base a la performance en las listas, ventas, streaming, redes sociales, etc. Los ganadores los elige el público con sus votaciones.
