El próximo 8 de noviembre se publicará la edición 20 aniversario del Head Music de Suede. Publicado originalmente el 3 de mayo de 1999 es hasta la fecha su tercer y último #1 en álbumes en el Reino Unido.
El disco fue presentado por Electricity que es también hasta la fecha su último top 10 en listas, #5. Además contenía canciones como She’s in fashion, Everything will flow, o Can’t get enough que fueron todas top 30 en listas británicas.
El trabajo bien recibido por la crítica en su momento ve ahora una reedición para el que en 1999 Melody Maker denominó mejor álbum del año. Un trabajo de 13 canciones y casi una 1 hora de duración.
Aunque en 2011 se reeditó, esta nueva edición presenta el disco original, caras B, junto a 30 demos nunca antes publicadas en 2 CDs. Además de versiones alternativas, grabaciones en directo ensayos y en el DVD actuaciones en el Top of The Pops, y en Later…with Jools Holland, lanzadas por primera vez.
Además hay un generoso libro de 36 páginas con notas de propio Brett Anderson, letras y fotos. El último trabajo del grupo llegó en 2018, el pasado 21 de septiembre, The blue hour que fue #5 en listas británicas.
