Se celebró en el Microsoft Theater en Los Ángeles en su sexta edición los iHeartRadio Music Awards. Con la actuación de Halsey, Kacey Musgraves junto a Chris Martin, Marshmello con Lauv, Ella Mai, Brackstreet Boys, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande y Garth Brooks.
Los premios estuvieron muy repartidos, Ariana Grande fue nombrada artista del año, además de artista femenina del año y mejor álbum pop por Sweetner. J Balvin brilló en la parte latina al ganar el premio al mejor álbum latino y mejor canción por X junto a Nicky Jam, aunque el premio al mejor artista latino fue a parar a Bad Bunny.
La mejor canción del año fue para The Middle de Zedd, Maren Morris y Grey mientras que Taylor Swift ganó el premio a la mejor gira y al mejor vídeo por Delicate. Ella Mai ganó tres premios, todos en la categoría de R&B, mejor canción, artista y álbum.
El premio al Innovator se lo llevó Alicia Keys y Grath Brooks fue el artista de la década.
