Es difícil encontrar a un artista, que arrase en los Grammy, ganando álbum del año, por Take the long way, y canción y disco del año por Not ready to make nice y decida no publicar más discos, porque efectivamente, desde 2006 cuando lanzaron Take the long way, #1 en USA y #10 en UK, las Dixie Chicks no han vuelto a lanzar discos.
Pero no se han mantenido quietas y de hecho desde el 16 de abril, en Bélgica, el grupo está en su DCX MMXVI World Tour, que finalizará el 10 de octubre en Los Ángeles. Es la primera vez que el grupo es cabeza de cartel en gira por USA desde hace 10 años.
Debido a la demanda de sitios, la gira por los Estados Unidos ha tenido que ser ampliada, como se ha sabido ayer. Al final la gira serán 13 conciertos en Europa y 52 en suelo norteamericano.
En la gira, como no podía ser de otra manera no podía faltar el homenaje a Prince, en este caso con el tema Nothing compares 2U, en un set list que componen 24 canciones.
