Nicky Jam y Enrique Iglesias, con El Perdón han sido los grandes ganadores de los Billboard Latin Music Awards. Han ganado seis de los galardones a los que estaban nominados, Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event, Airplay Song of the Year, Digital Song of the Year, Streaming Song of the Year y Latin Rhythm Song of the Year.
Además Enrique Iglesias ha ganado el Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Solo, mientras que Nicky Jam ha ganado el Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo.
Nicky Jam por cierto agradeció enormemente a Enrique Iglesias el compartir el tema El perdón con él, porque como dijo en uno de los momentos en los que recogió uno de los premios Porque afrontémoslo, Enrique Iglesias es Enrique Iglesias y Nicky Jam, bien…no, él ha llegado a ser Nicky Jam.
Detrás de ellos ha estado el veterano Juan Gabriel, que ha ganado cinco, además de ser homenajeado con el Billboard Star Award.
Romeo Santos se llevó el premio al artista del año y Shakira ganó un premios por Social Artist of the Year, el premio de las redes sociales, cada vez más importante en cualquier entrega de premios. También Marco Antonio Solís se llevó el Billboard Lifetime Achievement.
