Se han entregado los premios del NME, una de las revistas musicales más importantes de la industria, la entrega de premios ha tenido lugar en la O2 Academia en Brixton, al sur de Londres. Los premios de la revista, además de los típicos a los mejores, tienen premios en las categorías de música, cine, libros, festivales, etc. Incluso tiene un premio a la peor banda, que este año ha recaído en 5 Seconds of Summer. Artistas premiados fueron Taylor Swift, Coldplay, David Bowie, The Maccabees, o The Libertines.
