Historia de un Matrimonio lidera con 6 nominaciones. Con 5 está El Irlandés de Martin Scorsese, las dos estrenadas por Netflix. Además con 5 nominaciones también está Érase una vez en Hollywood de Quentin Tarantino.
En televisión destacan Creedme, The Crown y Chernobyl con 4 nominaciones. Además en lo que nos toca más de cerca, Pedro Almodóvar, a la mejor película en lengua no inglesa, y Antonio Banderas al mejor actor, por Dolor y Gloria han sido nominados, así como la actriz Ana de Armas, por Puñales por la Espalda.
Además en la ceremonia del próximo 5 de enero en el Beverly Hilton Hotel en Los Ángeles, Tom Hanks recibirá el premio Cecil B. DeMille al conjunto de su carrera. Ellen DeGeneres recibirá el premio Carol Burnett por lo mismo, en el apartado de Televisión.
