Algunos de los artistas han reaccionado en Twitter sobre lo sucedido en Las Vegas, donde un tirador ha matado a más de 50 personas y más de 200 han resultado heridas. Fue durante el Route 91 Harvest Festival durante el último concierto del festiva cuando actuaba Jason Aldean. El presunto autor de los disparos, que ya a sido identificado por la policía, disparó ráfagas con un fusil semiautomático contra la multitud.
El festival estaba en su último día, comenzó el 29 de septiembre, después de haber congregado a más de 30.000 personas en los últimos tres días, con artistas como Eric Church, Sam Hunt o Jake Owen.
