Se han hecho públicas algunas de las composiciones que van a entrar a formar parte del Grammy Hall Of Fame, serán en total 26 composiciones, entre singles y álbumes, las que pasan a formar parte de la élite. Entre ellas, Blondie con Heart of Glass, The Grateful Dead con su disco American Beauty, The O’Jays con For the Love of Money, Fleetwood Mac con su disco del 75 llamado como ellos mismos o Joe Cocker y su clásico You Are So Beautiful.
En su 43 años desde que se lanzó la iniciativa, los títulos que están ya incluidos, ascienden a la cifra de 1.013. Es muy agradable estar incluida en compañía de esta gente, ha dicho Deborah Harry al enterarse de la elección de su tema, Heart of Glass ha vivido a través de varias encarnaciones, y ahora es parte de la historia.
